A Surprise on Independence Day

On the 4th of July we hosted our annual BBQ with our families.  I had to take pictures of the girls in their sweet outfits. 

Misty needed a picture in her sweet shirt too. 

And then Mitch and Amy brought pinwheels.  Best day ever!

 Here's most of the crew.  The food was delicious, as always, and the company was delightful. 

I quickly threw together this little book to give our families to announce baby #3. 

Here's how they reacted. 

Berkley loved being in on the secret and giving her grandmas the books. 

I was 10 weeks along.  We probably would've waited a little longer to tell but I was boating with my family often and my doctor didn't want me to wake board anymore, and we were going on a trip with the Morbys in two weeks and I knew I'd be sick. 

We did some of our own fireworks in the evening before heading over to Kent's to watch the Clearfield fireworks.

I let Berkley take a turn with the camera for a while.  Most of the pictures are out of focus but she got a few good ones.

On our way home from Bear Lake we stopped at Weber State to watch the fireworks.  (A Morby tradition.)

While waiting for the sun to set, we always play games, eat a lot of snacks, and of course, take pictures.

Don't mind Berkley's super long bangs.  I was toying with the idea of growing them out.

Peyton was loving the snacks.

Drew kept us all shaded.
