On our way into town we decided to get started with a pretty easy trail to Gemini Bridges.
After driving there, we hiked a little bit to see the "bridges."
We rented this 4-seater maverick for the weekend and we made sure we got our money's worth.
I even took a couple turns driving.
Peyton was pretty nervous the whole way, clinging to her seat belt for dear life. After that we put her car seat in and she was much more comfortable.
Our first full day started with Hell's Revenge.
Berkley didn't like the sun in her eyes.
Then she threw a fit over whose sunglasses she got to wear.
Peyton clearly wasn't that impressed by Hell's Revenge. It rocked her right to sleep.
Lunch after the traumatic experience. Just kidding, it really wasn't bad and nobody was hurt. Peyton was the most scared and told Zack not to tip it over every time we got in it again.
Swimming. Berkley wanted to swim every day. Turns out I forgot to pack her swimsuit so we ended up paying way too much for one at a grocery store. But she was happy.
Gearing up for a big one.
This girl loves to do "sassy" poses.
That evening we did Fins 'N' Things. This was probably my favorite trail. Maybe because it was diverse and fun. Or maybe because the sun was going down and we saw some sweet views.
We had to stop for a herd of cattle.
Berkley is not camera shy.
The next day we did Chicken Corners. Another really fun one with awesome views. Lots of dust though.
Pictures don't do this place justice.
Zack took some posing lessons from Berkley.
A family that off-roads together stays together.
One of my favorite sites of the trip.
It was a little weird for me to go to Moab without actually going to any National Parks and seeing the main attractions but it was really cool to see a different side of Moab. We had a lot of fun together.
