Our holidays were good, full of the usual family parties, ugly sweater parties, etc. We always spend Christmas morning at our place just the two of us. We like it that way because we can start our own family traditions and nobody's parents are jealous. We had some good snow storms and Zack got to pull LOTS of people out of the snow including a cop who was stuck in his own driveway. Here is our car after we were gone for a couple days.
All in all, we had a nice time. We gave and received some fun gifts but my favorite gift of all was from Zack of course. When we were married in the temple, our sealer told us we should display in our home a picture of Christ, the Bountiful Temple, and The Family: A Proclamation to the World next to one another. It was very specific advice and we just never got around to it. So Zack decided to make me this beauty as a present:
He made it out of scraps and leftover crown molding at the shop and the pictures were only $2 each at the distribution center. So here is my $6 Christmas present! I just think he is so talented. Everyone who comes in our apartment compliments it. I just can't wait for us to have a house so he can make me a beautiful kitchen too!
