Off-Roading

Saturday, June 12th we decided to celebrate the fact that our jeep is fixed and that it had been raining for about 4 days straight.

It was fun to be back in the mud!  We were also excited to take Berkley on her first off-roading adventure at 4 1/2 months old.  This is how excited she was about it:

You're a Real Mom Now

I've been giving Berkley rice cereal in the evenings.  There have been a couple of times that I've stuck my finger in to check the temperature and then licked my finger off.  That's a little gross but whatever.  The other day I was bringing Berkley upstairs for her bath after feeding her.  I noticed a small white glob on my hand so I decided to just lick it off.  I immediately realized it was not rice cereal.  It tasted like when you throw up in your mouth a little.  It must have been spit up.  I had just eaten another person's vomit!!  I've learned my lesson.  I will no longer lick foreign substances off of myself.

After telling this story to Zack he told me I'm a real mom now.  (After laughing for a long time and telling me how disgusting it is.)

Our First Family Pictures

Our friend Susie was taking a photography class and asked if we could be her guinea pigs.  I happily agreed because, at the time, we didn't have any pictures of all three of us besides at the blessing.  This was mid-April and I haven't posted them til now because I wanted to surprise our moms with them.  I think Susie did a great job, especially since it was her first time.  And a special thanks to Amy for doing some edits for us and making them look super cool!
