Sweet Cooperation!

That's right, we got a peek this time! The ultrasound tech did say the baby was giving her attitude though, and then it flashed a gang sign (which I encourage.) Everything looks good though, no cleft lip or spina bifida or anything and we found out that it's a GIRL!!! It didn't really surprise me very much but I'm glad to finally know!

We also made our first baby purchase recently. We were at the D.I. looking for some pants for Zack and stumbled upon this beauty for $8. It was ugly oak and kind of old but my husband is thrifty so he fixed it up. Here are a couple before shots:

He took it apart, sprayed it with white lacquer, sanded it in spots, and glazed it to give it an antique look so here it is:
It came with that pad, which would be fine, but the back pad is embroidered with some designs and the word "Daja." I'm not really planning on naming the child Daja so once we figure out colors we'll either recover the pads or buy new ones. I'll post the final pictures when it's complete!
