Labor Day Weekend at Bear Lake

We love spending Labor Day at Bear Lake every year.  We did some boating, swimming, game playing, bike riding, mini golfing, and time at the park.  My Dad is getting better and better at surfing. 

Misty invited her boyfriend Devin to come.  He was a really good sport and Zack was happy to have another male around.

Boating

We did a lot of boating this summer.  Especially toward the beginning of the summer.  I took some pictures (with my phone) on a couple of our outings. 

The girls seriously loved going out on the boat.  Peyton liked to just lie back in her life jacket and float. 

I love sleeping babies on boats. 

Berkley's friend Daniella and her family came with us one day.

Peyton had no fear of the tube.  (Totally opposite of Berkley at that age.)  I kept asking her if we were going too fast and she would say, "This is fun!" Then she kept doing the signs for 'faster' and 'curvy.' 

Boating

We went boating almost once a week over the summer.  The girls absolutely love it.  Peyton even saw my Dad on the 4th of July and said, "Grandpa!  Boat!"  I never brought my camera but I did take quite a few phone pics.

 My Mom hurt her back at the beginning of the summer so she took it easy and didn't ski or anything.  At the end of the summer she decided she could handle surfing and got up for the first time!

 My parents forgot the tube one day so they had to improvise.  Berkley loved it and kept saying that she surfed. 

Bear Lake

We went up to Bear Lake for a weekend in July.  Both of my sisters were out of the country but Rylee and Parker were able to come up and play on Saturday.  We had a blast!

Berkley continues to get more daring on the waterslide.


Zack got some good air. 


We took a lot of GoPro footage that turned out pretty cool.







Berkley kept laying down on this slide like this.  Only this slide.

So everyone tried to copy her.








Peyton was fearless on the slides.  She'd go down any slide, no matter the size.  (Fearless at the pool too.  Berkley never would have jumped off the side of the pool to someone at that age but Peyton did it several times.)










Parker got some sweet air on the wakeboard.

And so did his alfalfa hair.

This is how I feel about getting in Bear Lake water.

Don't worry I was fine.  Pretty hardcore.

Which worked out pretty well.
