Fall

Here's what we were up to this fall (that didn't make it into other posts.)

Berkley attended the cutest Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party in September for her friend Delilah.  She had so much fun and loved meeting Alice.

(Side note: She loves this shirt.  She calls it her ladybug shirt and wants to wear it all the time.)

Her mad hatter hat was very popular in our house for a while. 

The girls found the party hats. 

And played with markers.

Berkley said, "Look at my picnic, Mom!  I'm having fried people!"

I had a little day date with Berkley.  This grilled cheese place even has gluten free bread.

Berkley sang a solo in the primary program.  Here she is during practice the day before.

We finished our basement and Peyton was the first one to use the new toilet. 

Girls weekend in Park City with my Mom and sisters.  (I'm 24 weeks pregnant.)

We had a fun date night with Misty and Devin and Lindsay and Joe.  (25 weeks pregnant.)

My parents went on an African safari and kept texting us pictures of animals they saw.  They sent one of some little monkeys that were hanging around their camp so I sent them this one of some little monkeys that hang around my house. 

Zack and I both swore we would never own a minivan.  With baby number 3 on the way we needed a bigger vehicle so we test drove at least 5 different SUVs.  We found out that some Toyota Siennas have AWD so we agreed to at least look at it.  We were so amazed by the amount of room, auto-open doors, etc. that we ended up buying it.  It's SO convenient with kids in carseats but it definitely killed our pride a little to be minivan owners. 

We call it the swagger wagon and the kids love it because of this commercial. 

Berkley likes to do her own hair. 

We got to help celebrate Grandpa Toolson's birthday. 

I got my hair chopped off. 

We finally got a tiny skiff of snow and I couldn't keep the kids inside, they were too excited. 

I gained a small obsession with jamberry nails. 

Playing in the "snow" again.  There was only one tiny patch of it in our yard but they wanted to play in it. 

Zack is actually quite good at fingernail painting. 

One night for family home evening we made turkey hands to decorate the mantle. 

Before hanging them up, the girls did a little puppet show for us. 

For another family home evening activity we made a "thankful turkey" and each wrote things we are thankful for on the feathers. 

We went to Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma Toolson's.  Berkley brought her Indian costume from preschool and performed some songs for everyone.

It's been a really long time since I posted our random videos so I have quite a few from the past year-ish that haven't fit into other posts. 

Starting November 2013, Berkley singing the new primary song she learned.  

December 2013, the girls had a blast with the perfection game they got for Christmas (even if they didn't quite play according to the rules.)

January 2014, we had a little party at the Merrill's where we played a fun dancing game.  My parents really busted out their moves (which is normal for my Mom but not for my Dad.)

The kids had to play too.  Peyton was really into it.

Fall

All the pictures I took this Fall that didn't fit into other posts.

I'm not sure where this pose came from... 

but it happened again here. 

Zack spent most of his free time this summer (as well as lots of other family members) working on Parker and Rylee's house.  They bought an old home in Logan and completely gutted it and redid everything.  They were able to move in this Fall and it turned out great.  The girls even got to go up and help a couple of times.  This is Peyton installing cabinets. 

"Look Mom, it's a circle with a dot in it.  That means it's target!"  Do I shop too much?

I went on a sister date with Misty to see Florida-Georgia Line, Thompson Square, and Luke Bryan.  The people watching was almost better than the actual entertainment. 

While I was at the concert, the girls went on a date with Daddy.

 We had to buy some Brigham City peaches.  I froze a bunch for smoothies and made some freezer jam. 

Our raspberries did really well throughout September/October but rarely made it into the house.  This little girl shoves them in her mouth as fast as possible.

We love October. 

Our green beans were really late bloomers but once they got going they didn't stop.

I bought myself some fun new frames.  Zenni Optical is my new favorite. 

I didn't prepare a family night treat so Zack whipped up a caramel sauce to dip apples in. 

Berkley was in her first primary program.  She did great.  Now it's 4 months later and she still remembers her part: "Some of the commandments the prophets have given us are to pay our tithing and follow the Word of Wisdom.  When we do this we are blessed."

Walking home from preschool.  "My breath is out.  I need to rest."

I got my hair did. 

Our first snow came the beginning of November.  Berkley had been wanting to do snow angels since May so she was excited. 

We found an app that puts makeup on you.  Berkley loved taking pictures of everyone and putting crazy makeup on them. 

My last harvest.  This was our first year doing potatoes and it was a big success. 

She is special.
