Fall

All the pictures I took this Fall that didn't fit into other posts.

Playing in the rain.  

I'm not sure where this pose came from... 

but it happened again here. 

Zack spent most of his free time this summer (as well as lots of other family members) working on Parker and Rylee's house.  They bought an old home in Logan and completely gutted it and redid everything.  They were able to move in this Fall and it turned out great.  The girls even got to go up and help a couple of times.  This is Peyton installing cabinets. 

"Look Mom, it's a circle with a dot in it.  That means it's target!"  Do I shop too much?

I went on a sister date with Misty to see Florida-Georgia Line, Thompson Square, and Luke Bryan.  The people watching was almost better than the actual entertainment. 

While I was at the concert, the girls went on a date with Daddy.

 We had to buy some Brigham City peaches.  I froze a bunch for smoothies and made some freezer jam. 

Our raspberries did really well throughout September/October but rarely made it into the house.  This little girl shoves them in her mouth as fast as possible.

Our green beans were really late bloomers but once they got going they didn't stop.

I bought myself some fun new frames.  Zenni Optical is my new favorite. 

I didn't prepare a family night treat so Zack whipped up a caramel sauce to dip apples in. 

Berkley was in her first primary program.  She did great.  Now it's 4 months later and she still remembers her part: "Some of the commandments the prophets have given us are to pay our tithing and follow the Word of Wisdom.  When we do this we are blessed."

Walking home from preschool.  "My breath is out.  I need to rest."

I got my hair did. 

Our first snow came the beginning of November.  Berkley had been wanting to do snow angels since May so she was excited. 

We found an app that puts makeup on you.  Berkley loved taking pictures of everyone and putting crazy makeup on them. 

My last harvest.  This was our first year doing potatoes and it was a big success. 

She is special. 

Lady A on Valentine's Day

This year for Valentine's Day Berkley got dressed up in her heart attire.

 We attempted to make heart-shaped cupcakes by putting marbles in the cupcake pan.  (An idea found on pinterest.)

They looked more misshapen than heart-shaped but it was worth a try.  We brought them to Zack's work where they didn't mind the odd shape. 

 For Christmas, my awesome sister Misty surprised the whole family with tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert which happened to be on Valentine's Day.  Unfortunately my Dad was on a work trip to Canada and Zack had classes he couldn't miss.  (He just barely missed those classes while he was at a school competition in Reno.)  So it worked out to be a Woodbury girls night which was fine with us :). 

We started with dinner at Cafe Zupas because we figured it wasn't very romantic so it shouldn't be too busy.  Plus it's delicious. 

Then we headed to the concert.  I haven't been to a concert in years.  It was so fun!  Thompson Square and Darius Rucker were the opening acts, both of which were fabulous.  Darius even performed a couple of his Hootie and the Blowfish songs.  Then there was Lady A.  What can I say, they were amazing.
