Little Valentines

I like to take pictures of the girls in Valentine attire.  Mostly so I can put them in frames the next year.  And for the blog.  So here they are. 

June was about 2 weeks old. 

The older girls got to have a valentine sleepover with Grandpa Drew and Grandma Lisa while Zack and I enjoyed a quiet night at home.  (As quiet as a night with a newborn can be.)

The next day Lisa came back and stayed with all 3 girls while Zack and I went out for a sushi lunch.  (Since I could finally eat sushi again.)  It was nice. 

And, of course, Zack showered me with gluten free treats.  (Food is my love language.)

Valentine's Day

My Mom, Misty, and I had a Valentine "crafternoon."

Berkley and I made some adorable Valentines for her class party. 

I had to take some pictures of the girls on Valentine's Day in their heart outfits. 

 Peyton couldn't wait long enough to eat her treats from Misty. 

The girls got to have a sleepover with their Morby grandparents.  They made heart-shaped pizzas.  

 Then they got to eat dinner while watching the smurfs. 

 They dipped strawberries in chocolate. 

 And they decorated sugar cookies.  Best Valentine's Day ever. 

Valentine's Day

This year I helped Berkley make little valentines for all of our family members.  We traced her hand and cut it out so it makes a heart when you open it.  (Thanks pinterest.) Then we mailed them to all her aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
 
I put up some Valentine's decorations for the first time.
 
I think Berkley had the best Valentine's Day ever this year.  I left each girl a little present for them to find when they woke up (something my Mom always did for us.)  They each got a movie, Peyton got crayons, and Berkley got finger paint.  Naturally, she had to try out the finger paint right away.



We went to story time at the library where she made a special valentine for her dad.  Then Grandma Lisa came to play and brought cookies to frost while I went to work half a shift.  After I came home Grandma Leann and Grandpa Calvin picked Berkley up to go out to Zupa's and have a sleepover.  Almost too much fun for one day.

Zack and I had a steak dinner at home.  (A rarity at our house.)
